Contribute to Re‑elect Harman Bhangu

Under British Columbia’s Election Act, political contributions may only be made by eligible individuals who are residents of British Columbia and are Canadian citizens or permanent residents.

Corporations, unions and other organizations cannot make political contributions.

The maximum political contribution for 2026 is $1,513.29 to each registered political party, including contributions made to that party’s candidates, nomination contestants and registered constituency associations.

This means the $1,513.29 limit is a combined annual limit. A contributor cannot contribute the maximum amount to the Conservative Party of BC and then contribute another maximum amount separately to a Conservative candidate or constituency association.

Political contributions must be made using the contributor’s own money or property. A contributor cannot be reimbursed by another person or organization.

Cash contributions are limited to $100.

Contributions of more than $250 during a reporting period are subject to public disclosure requirements, including the contributor’s name and contribution amount.

Eligibility for a provincial political contribution tax credit and tax receipt is subject to Elections BC requirements, including rules governing when a candidate may issue tax receipts.
